抱怨Nature Communications难中的看过来
综合期刊来讲，Nature 影响因子>30, PNAS影响因子小于10，中间这么大个空挡！！空挡就是商机，NPG是商业组织，所以推出NC去填补这个空白。NC的定位为介于Nature和PNAS之间的综合性期刊，稳定后影响因子20-30，其接受标准自己衡量吧。
接收后可选择自己付费还是读者付费，作者自己选择，比较人性化。接收后，你不付钱的话就跟传统期刊模式一样了。没有规定必须付费，现在NC主页上发表的论文只有一小部分（不信你自己看，带OPEN的是作者付费）是作者付费的（有的作者喜欢付费，因为论文彻底公开后能提高引用率）。
据说NC跟其他Nature子刊要求、审稿过程类似，可能有多轮审稿。
NC官方定位是发表Nature其他专业子刊没覆盖的领域，例如工程技术、植物学、生态、发育生物学、天文学等等“相对不容易发文章或不太热门的领域”，以及其他热门专业子刊覆盖的领域中取得“重要进展”的成果。NPG给它的笼统地位比Nature专业子刊稍低，目的是“口头上”保护和”抬高“Nature子刊中因为专业原因而影响因子很低的子刊，比如影响因子只有10左右的Nature Geoscience（仍然为地学一哥），这个说法也可以看成为其专业子刊做广告。不要把Nature的这个笼统定位当回事，没有人愿意说自己水平不够高，你见过其他期刊说自己档次不如另一个期刊吗？
总之，如果感觉自己成果介于Nature和PNAS之间，可以试一试NC。
楼主说的很对。 分析的很有道理，现在nature communications的编辑到处做宣传，北京这边化学所、清华、北大都已经不止一位编辑来过了，宣传力度很大，他们自己也非常有信心 我倒是认为NC比PNAS更容易发一些。PNAS经常可不看你做得怎么样。 看了很多人的看法，我觉得NC影响因子估计会在10～20，因为他不像nature的其他子刊那样很专业，太综合了会拉低他的影响因子。所以影响因子肯定达不到nature Chemsitry， 更不用说nature materials了。
由于每年发的论文少，才几百篇，影响因子肯定会超过一年4000篇文章的PNAS。

看了一些自己领域的NC文章，质量都还不错。堪比于同领域的专业顶级期刊，但和nature子刊比确实如编辑所说低一个档次（不像楼主说的那样是他们谦虚）。 不过比他们另个一杂志scientifc reports比还是要高0.5-1个档次。
从文章平均质量和影响力（不是影响因子）来说，个人觉得如果nature是10的话，nature子刊大概8-10，综合类的NC和PNAS与专业类的顶级期刊如jacs, prl, am, nano letters大概都在6-8这个范围，scientific reports和略次一些的专业期刊一个档次（4-6）。数字部分重合表示一些低级别较高质量/高级别较低质量的文章。 : Originally posted by sunray55 at

看了一些自己领域的NC文章，质量都还不错。堪比于同领域的专业顶级期刊，但和nature子刊比确实如编辑所 ... 其实nature子刊论文质量倒不一定比各专业顶级期刊强多少。但是投稿难度要大很多，尤其是对国人来讲，nature nanotechnology和nature chemistry等现在还是每年100多篇，你去Lieber和Peidong Yang等人主页上看看，他们基本上每年都会有，这样的人会固定的占到很大的比例，全世界其它课题组也发不了几篇，到中国就更少了，所以能不能发表运气成分更大，跟买彩票中奖差不多，因为难，得到大家的追捧也不足为奇。反倒是最近的nature communications和scientific reports因为发表量相对较大，有可能集中一批高质量的文章。 : Originally posted by sunray55 at

摘 要 有序介孔碳 OMC 是最近发现的一类新型的介孔材料，1999年其合成方法首次
被Ryoo等人报道。由于介孔碳具有较高的比表面积、有序的孔径分布，同时具有较高
的机械强度、较强的吸附能力，可应用于催化、储氢、吸附等领域。与其他介孔材料 比
如介孔硅 相比，有序介孔碳的酸碱稳定性良好，其合成模板SBA．15非常便宜，合成方
法简单，很容易制得，有序介孔碳本身是很好的良导体，具有较好的导电性，被越来越
多的用于研究物质的电化学行为。 我们用SBA．15介孔材料做模板，以蔗糖为碳源，通过改变蔗糖与模板的质量比 x 合成了三种不同孔径特征的介孔碳 OMC．x 。蔗糖与模板的质量比为0．6，1．25和3，
线衍射、氮气吸附．脱附和拉曼光谱对三种介孔碳进行了表征。对苯二酚 HQ 在三种
OMC．x修饰玻碳电极上表现出了很好的电化学活性。我们利用铁氰化钾氧化还原体系
研究了对苯二酚的催化氧化行为。对苯二酚在OMC．O．6／GC修饰电极的检出限为文献报 111nol
道中，电化学法检测对苯二酚的最低值：31．4 L-1 pH2．00 ，这使OMC．O．6／GC修
饰电极可能成为一种灵敏的对苯二酚电化学传感器。 另外，我们同样以SBA．15介孔材料做模板，以蔗糖为碳源，在合成介孔碳过程中
加入一定量硝酸钴的乙醇溶液，经离心、二次碳化、去模板后形成钴氧化物掺杂的有序
介孔碳，记作OMC．Co。以阳离子交换聚合物N撕0n为分散剂，很容易地将有序介孔
碳及功能化的有序介孔碳分散在水中，把该分散液涂覆在玻碳电极 GC 表面制得修饰
电极。我们采用循环伏安、线性扫描等方法比较研究了磷酸缓冲溶液 PBS 中，还原 3．98
OMC／GC电极上氧化峰电流的4．2倍。在pH
响应稳定。
