要确定iTunes为10.5及以上版本后，即可开始刷机。请按照以下三个步骤进行：
<font color="#. 在打开iTunes之前, 先将iPhone连接至电脑USB，进入DFU模式（方法：再将iPhone关机后，按着Power键保持3秒，是要同时按着Home键保持10秒，要直到iPhone黑屏后保持按着Home键，然后松开Power键，再等10秒后松开Home键），iTunes会报“检测到一部恢复模式的iPhone”。
<font color="#. 按键盘Shift+恢复，弹出一个对话框，选择下好的iPhone4,1_5.0.1_9A406_Restore.ipsw，点打开恢复官方固件。
<font color="#. 恢复固件成功后会进入设置向导界面，完成设置向导后，解压absinthe-win-0.4.zip，打开absinthe.exe，点击“Jailbreak”，耐心等待，程序会自动加载越狱文件至手机，设备会重启一次，当程序界面显示“Almost done”时表示加载完成，此时可关闭程序，在手机桌面打开Absinthe程序，等待片刻手机会自动重启并完成越狱（如若打开该程序超过5分钟无反应，请进入设置，开启VPN开关直到手机重启）。

说明：WinSCP是一个Windows环境下使用SSH的开源图形化SFTP客户端。同时支持SCP协议。它的主要功能就是在本地与远程计算机间安全的传输文件。
<font color="#. 确保电脑装有无线网卡，将iPhone通过Wi-Fi连接至电脑无线网卡。
<font color="#. 确保iPhone装有OpenSSL及OpenSSH（可通过Cydia搜索下载安装或下载附件解压后将2个deb格式文件传到/private/var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall 文件夹，权限root 777，重启iPhone后便会自行安装，进系统后重启或注销次手机）。
<font color="#. 打开winscp.exe，显示WinSCP登陆主界面。在主机名处填入iPhone的IP地址，用户名处填：root，密码为用户自设的root密码（默认为：alpine）。所有填完确认无误后点登陆，稍等片刻会弹出个确认对话框，点“是”即进入WINSCP文件管理界面。
<font color="#. WINSCP文件管理界面类似于Windows资源管理器，左边代表电脑资源，右边代表iPhone资源；操作方法很简便，只需将需要传到iPhone的文件或文件夹从左边电脑资源里直接拖入至右边iPhone即可；如要设置权限，选定文件后点鼠标右键-属性即可编辑。
Deb格式文件安装方法
方法1：首先我们用WinSCP或者91文件管理将Deb包拷贝到iPhone的任意目录中，以xxx.deb举例，将xxx.deb放进tmp目录，权限root 777，然后运行Terminal，因为需要Root权限来安装，所以我们先输入：su，然后输入密码取得root权限。然后输入：cd /tmp回车,切换至tmp目录。随后输入：dpkg -i xxx.deb回车即开始解包安装。
方法2：用WinSCP或者91文件管理打开 /private/var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall 文件夹，Cydia和AutoInstall 文件夹需要手动创建，文件夹权限root 755；然后将Deb包放进AutoInstall 文件夹，文件权限root 777，重启iPhone后会自行安装。
方法3：在Cydia搜索安装iFile，将deb文件传到手机任意目录中，在iFile中打开该deb文件进行安装，安装完后重启或注销次手机。

重新刷机7.11是不可能的，只能用冬青鼠恢复到新越狱的状态，当然用冬青鼠你必须是没有随便修改过系统的关键文件。
