- The secondary hard disk with hard disk password may not be detected
&&when the following procedures are done on Windows Vista.
&&1. Set the hard disk password in a secondary hard disk.
&&2. Hot-attach the secondary hard disk to the computer.
&&3. Go into standby mode and then resume normal operation to let
& &&&Windows Vista recognize the hard disk.
&&4. Input the hard disk password when a password prompt for the
& &&&secondary hard disk appears.
&&5. After the Windows desktop appears, double-click the Computer icon.
& &&&But, the secondary hard disk may not be detected.

BIOS Setup？BIOS Setup各项目代表的都是什么意思？
操作指导：
一、Main（主菜单）

UEFI BIOS Version：UEFI BIOS版本
UEFI BIOS Date（Year-Month-Day）：BIOS时间（年-月-日）
Embedded Controller Version：EC BIOS版本
ME Firmware Version：英特尔管理引擎固件版本
Machine Type Model：机器型号，即MTM
System-unit serial number：主机序列号
System board serial number：主板序列号
Asset Tag：资产标签
CPU Type：CPU型号
CPU Speed：CPU主频
Installed memory：已安装内存容量
UUID：全球通用唯一识别码
MAC Address (Internal LAN)：网卡的MAC地址
Preinstalled OS License：预装系统许可证
UEFI Secure Boot：UEFI安全启动状态
二、Config（配置）
1. USB（USB设置）
(1) USB UEFI BIOS Support

1. Password（密码设置）
Supervisor Password：设置管理员密码
Password status：密码状态
Lock UEFI BIOS Settings：UEFI BIOS设置锁定
Password at unattended boot：设置在无人值守时是否验证密码
Password at restart：设置重启时是否验证密码
Set Minimum Length：设置最小密码长度
Power-on Password：设置开机密码
Hard Disk1 Password：设置硬盘密码
2. Security Chip（安全芯片设置）
(1) Security Chip：激活、释放或禁用安全芯片
设置为Active时，安全芯片生效
设置为Inactive时，安全芯片可见，但不生效
设置为Disabled时，安全芯片隐藏且不生效
(2) Clear Security Chip：清除安全芯片信息
(3) Physical Presence for Provisioning：允许或禁止在更改安全芯片的设置时显示消息
Physical Presence for Clear：允许或禁止在清除安全芯片时显示确认消息
3. UEFI BIOS Update Option（UEFI BIOS升级选项）
4. Memory Protection：（内存保护）
5. Virtualization（虚拟化设置）
6. I/O Port Access（I/O端口设置）
7. Anti-Theft（防盗设置）
8. Secure boot（安全启动）
五、Startup（启动选项设置）
UEFI/Legacy Boot：选择用UEFI启动还是传统的BIOS启动
CSM Support：兼容性支持模块支持
Boot Mode：选择启动模式
Option Key Display：设置是否显示引导选项键提示
Boot device list F12 Option：设置F12选项是否显示内容
Boot Order Lock：设置是否锁定引导顺序
下图为设备引导顺序界面，使用“上下方向键”可以选择设备，使用“+”或者“-”可以移动设备，使用“！”键可以设置禁用或打开指定设备的引导功能。
六、Restart（重启）
Exit Saving Changes： 退出并保存
Exit Discarding Changes：退出不保存
Load Setup Defaults：加载默认值
OS Optimized Defaults： 默认系统，如预装Windows 8则为Windows 8系统
Discard Changes：不保存设置
Save Changes：保存设置
