We're proud that gDiapers
are the only baby product to be Cradle to Cradle Certified (cm) Silver. That means that everything that goes into our Disposable Inserts has been reviewed for 19 human and environmental health criteria and have proven to be re-absorbed back into the eco-system in a neutral or beneficial way when composted (wet ones only). 5 Areas of Assessment
To be certified Cradle to Cradle, a product must meet high standards for material health and reutilization, energy required for production, water usage and quality, and social responsibility. Here are the five categories in which every Cradle to Cradle product is assessed:
Material Health: Knowing the chemical ingredients of every material in a product, and optimizing towards safer materials.
Material Reutilization: Designing products made with materials that come from and can safely return to nature or industry.
Renewable Energy & Carbon Management: Envisioning a future in which all manufacturing is powered by 100% clean renewable energy.
Water Stewardship: Manage clean water as a precious resource and an essential human right.
Social Fairness: Design operations to honor all people and natural systems affected by the creation, use, disposal or reuse of a product.

How to compost Disposable Inserts
You can compost your wet Disposable Inserts, turning them into a nutrient-rich compost your garden will adore. They’re made of cellulose, fluff pulp and super absorber, which alone would be a valuable contribution to your compost, but when combined with the added nitrogen from your baby’s urine, makes an incredibly rich soil amendment safe for all manner of plants and vegetables. The cradle-to-cradle approach is the ideal solution to avoid waste from the use of a particular product. All recycled rubber produced at the Genan plants o and the aim should thus always be to produce rubber of such quality that it can be used to substitute virgin rubber in new tyre compounds on a 1:1 basis. Yet, during the vulcanisation process, in connection with the manufacturing of new tyres, the rubber irreversibly loses so and recycled tyre rubber will thus most likely never be able to exhibit the identical properties of virgin rubber.
Genan fine cryogenic rubber powder and devulcanised rubber is today used in the tyre manufacturing industry, substituting a fraction of the virgin rubber compound material. Genan works in close cooperation with the tyre industry to make this ultimate cradle-to-cradle recycling a reality. Consequently, the circular economy loop in rubber and tyre production is now gradually closing, thanks to the development of the clean and environment-friendly Genan tyre recycling technology.

Egecarpets has obtained Cradle to Cradle certifications&on
and . A total of 47 carpet collections are now Cradle to Cradle certified. This makes Egecarpets among the largest Cradle to Cradle certification holders worldwide.
The Cradle to Cradle Certified(TM) Product Standard is a globally recognized eco-label standard, administered by the independent, non-profit organization Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute.
